Savory Buttery Carrots

Tender carrots glazed in rich salted butter for a simple, savory side dish bursting with natural sweetness and buttery goodness.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
  • 3 tablespoons salted butter
  • to taste salt

Instructions
 

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the carrot sticks.
  • Cook carrots for 8–10 minutes until tender but still slightly firm.
  • Drain the carrots well and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt the salted butter over medium heat.
  • Add the drained carrots to the skillet and toss to coat in the melted butter.
  • Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3–5 minutes until carrots are glazed and hot.
  • Season with additional salt if needed, then serve warm.
