Savory Buttery Carrots
Tender carrots glazed in rich salted butter for a simple, savory side dish bursting with natural sweetness and buttery goodness.
Ingredients
- 1 lb carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
- 3 tablespoons salted butter
- to taste salt
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the carrot sticks.
- Cook carrots for 8–10 minutes until tender but still slightly firm.
- Drain the carrots well and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the salted butter over medium heat.
- Add the drained carrots to the skillet and toss to coat in the melted butter.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3–5 minutes until carrots are glazed and hot.
- Season with additional salt if needed, then serve warm.
