  • 1.5 lb ground beef
  • 1 can Campbell's® Condensed Tomato Soup
  • 0.5 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.13 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, finely chopped onion, bread crumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper.
  • Mix ingredients gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it into a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan or on a baking sheet.
  • Spread half of the can of Campbell’s tomato soup evenly over the top of the meatloaf as a glaze.
  • Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, spread the remaining tomato soup glaze on top, then return to oven for an additional 15 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing to allow juices to redistribute.
  • Serve warm with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
