Savory Ham and Artichoke Skillet (Without Jalapenos and Vinegar)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cooked ham, diced
  • 1 14 oz canned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the onion and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in the diced ham and cook for 3-5 minutes until lightly browned.
  • Add the chopped artichoke hearts, oregano, black pepper, and salt to taste.
  • Stir well and cook for another 5-7 minutes until heated through and flavors meld.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then serve warm with crusty bread or over rice.
