Ingredients
- 5 pounds frozen chicken wings, thawed
- 10 fluid ounces barbeque sauce (such as Kraft Original)
- 2 tablespoons maple-flavored syrup (such as Mrs. Butterworths)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the thawed chicken wings dry with paper towels to ensure crispiness.
- In a large bowl, combine the BBQ sauce and maple-flavored syrup until well mixed.
- Add the wings to the bowl and toss thoroughly to coat each piece evenly with the sauce mixture.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a lightly greased wire rack placed over a baking sheet.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, turning the wings halfway through cooking to get an even glaze and crispy skin.
- Optional: For extra caramelization, broil the wings for 2-3 minutes at the end of baking, watching closely to avoid burning.
- Remove from oven and let the wings rest for 5 minutes before serving warm.
- Enjoy your sweet and smoky baked BBQ wings as a crowd-pleasing snack or main!
