Grilled Donut Ice Cream Sandwich

A fun and indulgent treat where glazed donuts are lightly grilled to caramelized perfection and sandwiched with creamy vanilla ice cream, topped with chocolate syrup and whipped cream.

Ingredients
  

glazed donuts, cut in half

    vanilla ice cream

      chocolate syrup, for drizzling

        whipped cream

          Instructions
           

          • Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat.
          • Place the donut halves, cut side down, on the hot pan and grill for 1-2 minutes until the glaze is slightly caramelized and the donut warms up.
          • Remove the grilled donut halves and let cool for a minute so the ice cream doesn't melt too fast.
          • Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the flat side of half of the grilled donuts.
          • Top with the other grilled donut halves to form a sandwich, gently pressing together.
          • Drizzle chocolate syrup over the sandwiches and add a dollop of whipped cream on the side or on top.
          • Serve immediately and enjoy this warm-and-cold delicious dessert!
