LA’s Hot Breakfast Tots
A comforting, cheesy breakfast casserole layered with crispy tator tots, fluffy eggs, and savory cream of onion soup, topped with green onions for a fresh finish.

- 1 lb tator tots
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of onion soup
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup green onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, evenly spread the tator tots in a single layer.
In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, cream of onion soup, garlic powder, and salt until smooth.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the tator tots.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Remove from oven and sprinkle chopped green onions over the top before serving.
