Lori’s Classic Meatloaf
A comforting and hearty meatloaf made with ground beef, onions, and bread crumbs, bound together perfectly with eggs for a classic family favorite.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, finely chopped onion, and eggs.
Add salt and black pepper, then mix everything gently until just combined—avoid overmixing to keep the meatloaf tender.
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a lightly greased loaf pan or on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving for best texture and flavor.
